Shared Learning from the Implementation of a Technical Leadership Program

چکیده
Capstone projects have been an established vehicle of student–industry engagement in a university setting. In engineering, capstone are point transition from student to professional, as engineers gain practical work experience and apply their technical skills knowledge for industry-proposed design, research, and/or development challenge. this paper, we report on supplementary program—the Technical Leadership Program (TLP)—which was designed delivered students hone leadership within project. To the outcomes case study, use student-as-partners philosophy share study series vignettes co-authors who participated TLP. These collated into four key thematic areas including building awareness through leadership; personal repertoire creating common platform collaboration; transitioning professional workplace environment. The reflections then shown map relevant competencies leadership. Alongside these themes, paper shares design TLP delivery reflects challenges benefits mechanism enhance experience.
